The 18th Degree Collar is amongst the most beautiful in Freemasonry and is both simple and spectacular.   No aprons are worn in the degree and the black tie of the Craft is discouraged. Most members of The Order wear specific Rose Croix ties or those of a subdued colour such as light blue or yellow. Charity, Regimental or Military ties such as the Army Benevolent Fund are also widely worn.
